At a Bavarian Bier Cafe of course! Where I permanently gave my brother cravings for succulent pork belly and crackling.
Mango bier.
It didn't taste very mango-ey, the one at Lowenbrau was much better.
1L Hofbrau Original.
Munich Brewers Platter.
Delicious pork belly with crackling, one of the best schnitzels ever, chargrilled kassler which looked like spam and tasted salty, a variety of sausages served with sauerkraut, mash and red cabbage.
Bavarian Tasting Platter.
Similar to the Munich platter, with pork belly and crackling, schnitzel and sausages served with sauerkraut, sabago mash and red cabbage.
Jager Schnitzel.
A panfried veal schnitzel with creamy, yummy mushroom sauce. Served with a side of really awesome, crispy, golden fries. Oh epic carb-tastic meal!
Char-grilled Nornberger Sausages.
Selection of Bavarian sausages, with their delicious mash and sauerkraut, onion rings and Lowenbrau bier jus.
As you can see, nearly everything was polished off. That should speak volumes about how good it is. The fries and mash was the quickest to disappear off all the plates.
Not to mention the mushroom sauce, which was scooped up with the fries.
After all that meat and carbs, we still wanted to fit in dessert from the specials menu; pannacotta with blueberry compote. Divine heavens! I LOVELOVELOVE pannacotta. I must have it, even if I was too full to have my own plate of it.
